Professor Simon Rule is a Professor of Clinical Haematology at Peninsula Medical School (Faculty of Health: Medicine, Dentistry and Human Sciences), Plymouth, UK. He is also a Consultant Haematologist and Associate Medical Director of Research and Development at Plymouth Hospital NHS Trust, Plymouth, UK. He graduated from the University of Nottingham Medical School, Nottingham, UK, in 1987 with an MSc in chronic myeloid leukemia research, completed alongside his medical degree.
Prof. Rule’s research is in non-Hodgkin lymphoma with a particular interest in mantle cell lymphoma. He is the Chief Investigator on 12 national clinical trials and Principal Investigator on over 40 studies. Additionally, he manages the only mantle cell lymphoma clinic in Europe.
