The 9th of August 2018 saw the first case study from the Mayo Clinic featured on the Lymphoma Hub. This is the result of the exciting, new partnership between the Mayo Clinic and the Lymphoma Hub.

At the heart of this collaboration is Greg Nowakowski; lymphoma expert at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and also a member of the Lymphoma Hub Scientific Advisory Board .

Every 2 weeks, a Multidisciplinary team at the Mayo Clinic (eTumor Board) meet to discuss four clinical cases on lymphoma. These meetings are video recorded and the Mayo Clinic will select appropriate, informational and diverse cases to be posted to the Lymphoma Hub.

Alongside our regular news articles, these real-world clinical case studies will be an incredibly valuable feature for our community hematologists. Cases will be presented with all supporting clinical information (clinical symptoms, imagery, laboratory findings, previous treatment etc.,) presentation of pathological findings supporting diagnosis (including pathology images) and discussion surrounding the clinical decision making process.

The Lymphoma Hub would like to thank the Mayo Clinic and Greg Nowakowski for sharing their expertise and the invaluable contribution of all the members of the eTumor Board. We look forward to the sharing of information for the good of continuing medical education.
